What we publish
A publishable review describes firsthand use, a specific operating context, what worked, what failed, and any material relationship with the vendor. Positive and negative opinions follow the same standard. We may make light edits for privacy, formatting, or obvious errors without changing the reviewer’s meaning.
What we reject
We reject fabricated or duplicate reviews, promotional submissions, threats or abuse, personal data, confidential client information, copied material, unsupported accusations of wrongdoing, and undisclosed employment, affiliate, consulting, incentive, or vendor relationships.
Identity and private data
No public account is required. A private email is required for duplicate prevention, moderation questions, corrections, and withdrawal. It is stored separately from public review content and is never displayed. Evidence references are private and should never include passwords, API keys, client data, or sensitive screenshots.
Verification labels
“Verified use” means a moderator accepted evidence consistent with product use. “Unverified” means the review met the publishing standard without accepted evidence. Neither label endorses the opinion, guarantees identity, or converts user commentary into an editorial conclusion.
Ratings and ordering
User ratings never merge with our editorial verdict. An average remains hidden until at least three approved reviews exist. Verified and unverified counts remain visible separately, and compensation does not affect review ordering or moderation.
Corrections and withdrawal
Every accepted submission receives a one-time private withdrawal token. A reviewer can use the withdrawal page to remove a pending or published review. Withdrawal immediately removes publication, retires the private contact record, and deletes stored evidence references. A corrected review may then be submitted as a new moderation request.
Vendor responses and reports
Vendors may report a review or provide a factual correction, but cannot buy removal or demand the identity of a reviewer. We may temporarily flag disputed content while checking specific evidence. Editorial profiles are corrected through the separate sourcing and fact-check process described in our methodology.
Moderation record
Approval, rejection, flagging, verification, and withdrawal actions are recorded with a reason and moderator identity. Pending and private records are not exposed through public database access. Submission collection remains disabled until the database migration, anti-spam service, secrets, and moderation owner are configured.
